Electroless deposition onto polymeric materials

I am studying an IGDS course in surface engineering. I would like to find information on electroless deposition onto polymeric materials, with particular reference to the pre-treatment, catalyst and nucleation stages. Can you give me any guidance please?

"Metallic Coating of Plastics"
by William Goldie

on AbeBooks

or Amazon

(affil link)

Two good books, if you can get them, are "Metallic Coatings on Plastics" by William Goldie and Electroplating of Plastics [on Amazon affil links] by Weiner. Goldie is in two volumes - get both.
