Strip and paint aluminum frame

I need to repaint my aluminum bicycle frame. I'm doing this myself as I cannot afford a shop to do it for me. A. Can you please suggest an over the counter Stripper that won't harm the alum. frame. Jumping to the Painting process, to save money I'll be going to the canned aerosol spray methods. 1. Should I spray with primer first? How many coats? 2. How many coats of aerosol paint for the main color? 3. is clear coat available in aerosol cans? how many coats?

Thank you for any help you can give.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
