-----Silver Plating
We currently plate silver on plastic. In the near future I anticipate problems using our standard chrome-sulfuric etch because of the tri chrome. Have you ever heard of a permanganate etch substitute?
Thank you for any help.
Sincerely,

I think you meant hex chrome. A non-polluting gaseous etch has long been used by P-O-P shops. I don't know about the permangnate because you need to dissolve the butadiene without harming the other monomers in the ABS.
