-----sulfuric acid corrosion
Dear Sir,
I read your very valued answers to the questions posted to you. Really you are an expert in your area . I am working as Gen manager and wish to ask a qurrey. We are using Glass line reactor for 98% of sulfuric acid a along with pvdf piping. Would we face any problem of corrosion in future.
We are producing a fine chemical powder but even thogh we are using a glass line reactor we are getting greenish tint in our final product though in very very less level.
Kindly post me with your answer and suggestions
With sincere regards,

Light tint could mean a number of causes but one that comes to mind is metallic contamination (nickel sulphate is green). Glass is a very delicate material and certainly not indestructible. You have to make sure that glass has not cracked or eroded exposing the substrate material of your reactor.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
