Restoration of 304-3 Brushed Surface S.S.

We manufacture electrical distribution equipment such as Sub-Stations, Metering Devices and other related products. During the past 2 years we have been processing stainless steel 304-3 which has a brushed surface and is delivered with a Teflon type film to protect one side of the 4' x 10' sheets. My question is, what equipment is readily available in the market that could restore the uniform pattern after parts have been either spot welded or welded with the use of Mig-Welders. I assume that one would need an apparatus that will ensure a straight and constant rate of pressure and speed in order to obtain or restore its factory finish.

Wide Belt Sander

on Amazon

(affil link)

If your parts were complete flat or flush, you might be able to use a wide belt sanding machine like Timesaver; however, the visuals you provided appear to have hinges and latches which may better be finished by hand with a non-woven wheel system. If you have a lot of volume, there are people or companies that build special machines systems.
