Coating materials for cleaners hangers

2002

I'm running a laundry wire hangers manufacturing co. which is mainly dealing with PVC/galvanized coating materials. I'm now seeking some info on what sort of coating materials ( solvent or water based ? ) used in ordinary golden look hangers widely used by cleaners in united states. Please help . Your response would be highly appreciated.

Thank you,

Hello Mr. Saputra,

I have just noticed your question which is almost a year old, but I thought I should reply to it anyway. We use here special white paint for the shirt hangers and it is water based, quick drying; and a varnish golden clear colour for the suit hangers and all other types of hangers, the steel wire must be cleaned by an acid path and then rinsed by water then dried in a baking oven then dipped in the paint and finally dried in the baking oven at 450 degrees .

It is a long process, but when it is automated, it is easy and you can do large volumes . If you feel you need more information please do not hesitate to ask.

Now my turn to ask , what machines do you use, where do you buy them from , and how much they cost brand new? We use here large continuous production lines, not single machines, but they are very costly to operate and if you have any slight problem in one part of the line everything stops. We are thinking of starting to use small separate machines so we can run any number of them we need as per the production plans needed .
