Chrome plastic parts

I have a motorcycle that has some plastic parts covered with what looks like very shiny chrome...but it must be something painted on the plastic. I wondered is there anything available to fill in a scratch on one of these plastic chrome-like pieces.

Thanks,

Hi, Bob.

If it's OEM work on a motorcycle, it's not paint, it's real chrome electroplating, Bob. The chrome was applied by a very complicated process you won't be able to duplicate. Replacing the part is best, or you'll have to settle for some kind of putty and chrome colored paint like Bumper Chrome Paint [affil links].
