Nickel-Cadmium Plating Solution Market

Interested in most up-to-date annual sales (in units and $) of NiCd electroplating solutions. Geographic breakout and breakout by end use industry (e.g. aerospace, automotive, etc.) would be great.

Thank you very much for your help!

It's very late as I write this, so maybe I'm not thinking straight, but I don't think I've ever heard of nickel cadmium plating solutions. Nickel cadmium plating, yes, but to my knowledge this is actually separate nickel plating and cadmium plating, followed by a baking which diffuses the two together.

Ted,

It is also late as I write this, but you rung a bell, I sort of recall doing NiCd now and then at the airline; yes separate; yes baked. SIDE NOTE: Of some amusement is the encyclopedic inquires you receive on a casual exchange site.

Thanks, Jon. I would not exactly characterize our site as one of "casual exchange" because we like to flatter ourselves that we are becoming a significant resource. But you are correct that no one is going to supply for free the kind of detailed data compilations sometimes requested. We do, however, have at least one supporting advertiser whose business is to conduct this kind of research, and such questions often spur interesting side comments as this one did, so I don't think that posting this kind of inquiry is a waste of time.
