-----Test for corrosion resistance
We are using Nickel cladding on steel. The thickness of the clad is 4 micron. Should this be corrosion resistant to DI water boiling for 3 hours?

It sounds too thin to me. The 3 hours of boiling DI resistance is an accelerated test rather than the actual application I assume? If so, you need to design to the application, not to the test. Good luck.
