Construction of flag pole

I want to make a flag pole with an architectural cap on top of the pole. The pole is galvanized iron pipe. But I would like to make the cap above the pole in Aluminium. The Flag pole will be subjected to Extreme weather conditions of Kuwait. What precaution should be taken to prevent Bimetallic corrosion.

The best preventative measure in this case would be to insulate between the aluminum and the galvanized iron if possible. Galvanic current cannot flow if there is no metallic conduction path.
