Phosphate removal
I need an efficient removal method for Phosphate from plating waste effluent. The load is about 400 ppm of PO4. The effluent also has Nickel and Zinc which need to be removed.

Calcium chloride is an excellent precipitant for phosphate. As for the metals, pH adjustment should do the trick.
