Corrosion appears in SS303 after nickel plating

We are doing Gold plating over the Bright Nickel on SS 303 grade. Just after a day we find lot of corrosive marks brown spots appearing over the gold plating. first we do woods nickel, bright nickel then gold plating. is there any foolproof method to over come this issue. I will be thankful for any suggestions.

The gold bath is either contaminated or the gold is not thick enough.
