Plating for steel molds

We make carbon fiber kayak paddle blades using the RTM process with steel molds. We use woven carbon cloth and inject the epoxy resin into the mold using RTM at about 180 °F. Any opinion on what would be the best plating material for the mold surface for best part finish, best release, best wear etc. i.e. hard chrome, electroless nickel, nickel/Teflon, Teflon or ?

Thanks,

We have had good success on all types of molds with electroless nickel and a proprietary Teflon coating. I would be happy to do a trial sample for you.
