How do you make a mirror using aluminum as its backing?

Unfortunately, Kaye, your question is completely abstract. I don't know if you are asking about a 10 cent pocket mirror or a 10 million dollar telescope mirror. or something in between. But you polish the aluminum, bright dip or electropolish it, and anodize it.
