The peroxide present makes the recovery of the gold more difficult. If you first destroy the peroxide with a reducing agent, then the zinc dust [on eBay or Amazon] , or ion exchange, or electrolytic recovery will all work to recover the gold.

The combination of cyanide and peroxide is actually a gold stripping solution. But, once the peroxide is gone, any of the traditional gold recovery methods will work. If you try this, please be careful, since the reaction of the peroxide with a reducing agent can be a violent one. You must add the reducing agent slowly while agitating the solution.

Good Luck!
