STAINLESS STEEL BARS POLISHING

DEAR SIR,

WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE INFORMATION FOR POLISHING OF STAINLESS STEEL BARS ON A HUGE VOLUME UP TO 0.5 RA. IS IT OKAY TO HAVE A HARD ROLLER POLISHING SYSTEM OR AN ABRASIVE SYSTEM. WE WANT A VERY GOOD SHINE ON THE SURFACE.

What is the length of the bar and its weight? Normally an abrasive process is better at achieving a smoother surface, but if the parts are too long or heavy, this is not recommended. Not sure if the supplier can do this, but I would recommend that as the bars come out of the mill, use air pressure to dry and then install non-woven wheels in line prior to cut off. If supplier won't do this, you can build unit yourself. If bars are around 12" or under 2 pounds, then you might be able to achieve results using mass finishing.
