Protecting the luster of a copper kitchen hood

How can I prevent my copper kitchen hood from tarnishing? Future Acrylic Floor Wax (recommended by the manufacturer) worked reasonably well but was very difficult to apply smoothly. Tableau offers an Anti-Tarnish Spray lacquer and Everbrite [a finishing.com supporting advertiser] offers another type of protective coating. Can you point me to product reviews?

Hello Andrew. Sorry, but you would find product reviews in a magazine that you pay for, not on a free website--there's no economic model that would cover the cost of unbiased testing and delivering of the results for free :-)

A magazine like Consumer Reports or a home improvement magazine would be the right kind of place to look, but I'm not aware of whether this product line has actually been tested by those magazines. Let us know if you do find such a review.
