Corrosion/erosion of Bright Nickel under trivalent Chrome plating

What type of medium or exterior environment can accelerate corrosion or erosion of bright nickel under a microdiscontinuous trivalent chrome deposit? I'm need to develop an accelerated test for this failure mode.
