Heat treatment and tempering of brazed brass part

I am planning on brazing some brass stock at slightly greater than 600 °C. I've been told that this will soften some of the thin stock involved in the brazing. I would like to heat treat the brass to regain the original temper. Does anybody have a reference to a book or a web site that describes heat treat schedules for brass.

Jeff, brass sheet is a work hardening material: it doesn't respond to hardening by heat treatment.
