-----Chemical deflashing of Copper
2002
Dear Sir,
I am looking for a chemical for deflashing thick flashes on copper/A194 base metal. We have already tried with chemicals with basic constituent being polyaminecarboxylic acid and polyethoxylateamine.

See, there are two types of deflashes available. For Chemical Deflashing you can try various concentrations of DMF or M- Pyrol
For Electrochemical deflashes you can try NaOH, KOH in combination with Ethoxylated Furufuryl Alchol.
But to get the best results you have to have a water Jet deflashing system.
