-----Cadmium Fluoborate, in dip system, to plate chromate onto steel
Hello everyone, kindly I would like to know if I can use Cadmium Fluoborate, in dip system, to plate chromate onto steel.
If so, what would be the tank requirements in terms of solution composition, etc. Any technical and /or documentary references would be greatly appreciated as well.

Your question is a bit confused, Mr. Zadeh. I don't know if you are confused or if there is just an error and you meant to say 'cadmium' where you wrote 'chromate'.
Cadmium is usually plating out of a cadmium cyanide bath and that's often the best approach because it is a relatively simple and robust process. Plating out of a fluoborate bath can be done but it is more challenging and I think you need the support of a proprietary vendor.
