Problem with Aluminum extrusion

I have a problem in removing Aluminum after hot extrusion, from the Die tool. Now I immerse the die tool in Caustic soda solution for 3-4 hours then I go for laborious work like chipping etc. which I don't want to got for. Can anybody help me in solving the problem? The die tool is made up of H13 steel.
