Can we perform magnetic particle inspection on 15-5 Ph steel to detect surface cracks.

Q. Dear All,
As we are a forging supply company, I want to know whether --
1) SS410 material is to be supplied with rust preventive oil, and
2) How the crack detection of the material can be, as normally for other steel we use Magnetic particle inspection, using x-ray fluorescence machine.

I expect anyone may help with this issue, sharing their knowledge positively....
