Rhodium Plating on Molybdenum

We do rhodium plating on Molybdenum substrates. Most of the time we have good adherence, but sometimes the layer of rhodium loses adherence to the Molybdenum. We don't understand why. How can I make a low stress rhodium coating, or achieve better activation of the Molybdenum surface? Thanks a lot.

Try out pulse plating for low stress Rhodium... and better pretreatment for good adhesion.

Good luck..
