Performance Metric for powder coat and E-Coat process

I am trying to come up with a metric for the performance of the E-coat and powder coat process. We E-coat and powder coat forged steel components and Aluminum castings at the PCD ( Protective Coating Division) of our company. We carry out a pretreatment,e-coating, powder coating, and waste water treatment at this facility. Would appreciate your help with this.

The best way to monitor performance of coating is to establish metrics for few of the following key factors.

1. Establish SPC chart for weight of Zinc phosphate coated / sq mtr prior to CED ( Passenger car painting process).

2. establish SPC for PH , MEQ acid , % paste to binder ratio. There should every day tracking of % NV.
