-----Using citric acid as an Electrolyte
I currently have a passivation line in-house using citric acid . Is it possible to use this as an electrolyte for electropolishing as well? If so, what are the parameters with regards to voltage, temperature, etc.
Thanks,

No. It is not good, as a general rule, to mix uses of tanks, and probably impossible that most would just happen to have the same concentration, and the same tolerance to impurities.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
