Plating corrosion

Plating getting rusted while traveling in the sea for about an month. Black spots appears.(zinc plating yellow passivation)can you give explanation about electrolytic cleaning.

Difficult to remove these black spots, you will have to do a better job of preserving the finish by sealing with a post dip of some kind, or sealing in plastic bags with an inert atmosphere.
