Cleaning cedar paneling and water spots

I have unfinished cedar paneling in my bathroom. It needs a good cleaning and does have some water spots on it. Can you advise me on the best way to clean it up. I am redoing my bathroom and am considering keeping it if it looks fresh!

Anyone with an answer as to what to use to clean cedar ceiling or closets lined with cedar without ruining the wood ?
