Refinishing Wrought Iron Furniture

I'm looking for guidance in refinishing wrought iron (indoor) furniture. I have two chairs in perfect structural condition, but with some rust spots. They were previously painted a light color, and I'd like to do the same (not black). I've never refinished iron, and I'd appreciate advice on both prepping and painting.

Thanks!

I have some wrought iron outdoor furniture I would like to refinish. It appears to have a baked on finish in a light green and I want to paint it white. I would like to know what type of paint to use and if a primer is required.

Thanks,

I have a set of wrought iron furniture that we primed and repainted 8 years ago. The green painting is fading and I would like to repaint it. Currently I am unable to do it myself. I was shopping around and I was offered two different methods: One is sandblasting and powder coating (more expensive) the other is "dip it" (?) and spray it with automobile paint. The furniture was beautiful because it was not shiny and had a thin layer of paint. What is the best method to recover that look and have a durable painted surface?

I just bought an antique wrought iron patio set in black. However, I would like to paint it white. What is involved? Does it need to be sanded first? I would appreciate any pointers.
