Trivalent chromium inquiry

Sir:

I am interested in knowing the exact chemical formula for the trivalent chromium plating compound.

Thanks,

Trivalent chromium plating is done from proprietary plating baths which were developed at very substantial R&D costs over a period of many years, Peter. I think there is no chance that the developers will give you this info. But good luck.

Your question is abstract, rather than covering your your own situation. Please tell us who are you and why you want to know. Thanks!
