Help on my Capstone project

I am doing a capstone dissertation for a school project and was looking to find locations on the Web to find information about metal finishing. My company manufactures surgical needles with an ethyl alloy metal. We press, polish, strip, clean and drill all needles. We have a finishing plant that swedges the sutures to the needles. I am looking for information to use in my final project that would help people not familiar with the finishing process to better understand it. Any type of help would be very appreciated.

This site has 12826 previous discussions about metal finishing, so you'll find some of what you want here. The Metal Finishing Guidebook will offer you some additional info. But a good library, where you can get books on the subject, will beat website addresses. Good luck.
