-----Precipitation of chrome from a passivate
What is the best way to precipitate chrome (III) from a spent passivate solution. pH correction doesn't seem to do much. There is a level of citric acid added to the bath during it's life - I'm sure this is not helping.

Paul:
You may have to bring the pH up to 12 with Ca(OH)2. This should drop out all of the citric as Calcium citrate and free up the chromium for precipitation using normal methods.
