Scratch problems on watch




 

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are interested with watch gold plating job. My question is: how is make regular gold plate on old (it have some scratch) watch. First plate is brass plate at this watch. Our main problem is how to make correction on brass plate watch on scratches?

By reading the contents I understand that you want to know how to gold plate a watch whose base metal is brass and has scratches. First you will have to strip the watch case, polish or buff the surface till scratches disappear and then gold plate with an Nickel under coat.
