Autophoretic® Process Application

Has anyone heard of 700 series Autophoretic® paint used for external applications on its own without subsequent organic overlay. To be more Specific, for an aftermarket automotive application. I am interested mainly in UV performance, corrosion resistance and chip resistance of parts coated in Autophoretic® 700.

Autophoretic® chemical coatings are available in 700 & series. These coatings are applied on a degreased panel and prior to pickling for scale removal. ACC gives an improved corrosion resistance 600 hrs min. with 3 mm scribe one side and chip resistance 5+.Capex and operating cost is approx. 50%, however area of application need to be identified for corrosion protection and exposure.

700 Series is not good at UV performance but 900 Series is good at UV performance because same not resin.
