Sprayable hard finish for Acrylic

I need a sprayable hard matte finish for acrylic that will resist scratching. I am using 1.5" thick acrylic as a table top and need to prevent damage over time.

Hi Ramsey,

I think you are up the creek! After all, Acrylics are reasonably hard materials when compared to most other thermoplastics.

You want to protect your acrylic from scratching? (which it will, quite easily ... go thou to a glazier and get a piece of plate glass, tempered if you wish, to rest on it.

There's no magic solution. Sorry!
