Corrosion proofing for aluminum

I am looking for a good dry-to-the-touch coating and corrosion proofing for aluminum. (6061 sch 80 tube).

They say the more you put in the more you get out.

With this question there are many answers that I could give but with the limited information give I could not say which one would be right.

Why do you want corrosion resistance?

What is the aluminium exposed to?

How much do you want to pay?

Do you want the surface conductive?

Do you mind what colour the surface ends up?

Do you want wear resistance as well?

Say more about the application and you will get a better answer than 4 thou of gold would improve the corrosion resistance and be dry to touch.

(that was one of the possible answers that is right to the question asked by very wrong for the real world)
