Corrosion, Pretreatment

I need information regarding acceptance of citric passivation per ASTM ASTM A967 [link by ed. to spec at TechStreet] by major aerospace manufacturers. Also, anything approved by the FDA or medical firms?

Thanks,

Peter:

You may want to reference AMS2700 [link by ed. to spec at TechStreet], one of the specifications from SAE for the Aerospace industry. A number of aerospace companies have changed to our citric acid based formulations to get the improved performance and low hazards. Others are still waiting for approvals of some companies.
