Goldplating an entire watch

Does anyone know if you can electroplate an entire watch without dipping it into a solution. Also, are there different shades of the color gold that are used in electroplating?

It is possible to "brush plate" a watch, but it takes some level of skill. Golds of many shades are available. Talk to one of the brush plating suppliers listed in our Chemicals Directory.
