Electroless plating of fiber

We are looking for electroless nickel or copper system on polyester fibers. Pretreatment should be such that it doesn't harm the material mechanical strength. Thickness of fiber is 10-25 microns. System should be suitable for continuous process.

You need to etch, pickle, roughen, oxidize, carbonize, or otherwise change the micro geometry of the surface in order to get some mechanical locking of the plate. Then you need to activate or sensitize the surface to allow electroless deposition.
