Clearcoat for gold plated products?

I am looking for a hard clear coat for gold plated products. I was told there was a product called Clear Chrome but I am unable to find a supplier. If you know where I can get this product...

We use "Clearlyte" electrophoretic lacquer supplied by Enthone-OMI/Sel-rex for clear coatings on gold and silver plated items suggest you contact your local agent
