Re-anodizing a cast aluminum sauce pan

I have some kind of magnesium/aluminum alloy cast saucepan that the anodized coating has been worn/scratched off. Is this something that can be repaired inexpensively? Any recommendations on how to get it done?

You can buy a brand new identical pan for far less than you could ever have it re-anodized. Put it in your recycle bin.

James is indeed right about the cost, Rick. Economy of scale is working against you. When the new saucepan is anodized, it is done on an automated anodizing line along with hundreds of its sisters and the labor involved is minimal. To re-anodize one is certainly going to involve an hour or more of someone's time. Sorry for the bad news.

However! For some good news, there are those who claim that the pan is fine without the anodizing.
