Need Old Roof Snow Guards Hot Dipped, in North Jersey

October 24, 2011

I have approximately 50 old snow guards for a slate roof, in need of recoating. (I'm thinking hot dipped zinc, would probably be best.) 1" wide flat bar, 8" length, then bent at a 90 degree angle, to form the snow stop, where the bar is cut, and the two sides bent into a ram's horn configuration, (This part exposed to the elements is where the coatings worn off) this part's about 3" high, by 2&1/2 wide, and roughly 3/32" thick steel.

I'm trying to get an idea if it is more economical to get these redone, or just buy new ones. I'm back and forth between Bergen, and Sussex County. Can furnish a photo via e-mail if needed.

I guess this classifies as a pretty small job, so in advance let me say I appreciate your time, and consideration.
