How do I dispose of 5 gals plastic container of Lectronic 1003-S Make-up.

I wish to safely dispose of a 5 gals plastic container of Lectronic 1003-S Makeup left at my home by a previous owner. I think the material is hazardous and can't just be dropped off at the local dump. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am located in Northern New Hampshire.

Hi, Michael. If possible, I would make the previous owner pick it up. There is an excellent chance that he is legally responsible for proper disposal. If that doesn't work, many counties have periodic hazardous waste collection. I have seen this stuff listed for $15 on surplus lists, so I don't think you'll easily find a buyer.
