Services:

IPS is an ISO 9001-2015 certified California based company providing business-to-business metal finishing services and more for over 35 years. We are a family owned business with over 75 years experience in the industry, providing top quality metal finishing on medium to high volume production runs. We specialize in electroplating, polishing (manual & automatic), and coatings (powder, liquid and PVD). Finishes provided include a variety of chrome, brass, nickel, bronze (including oil rubbed bronze), oxidized, distressed, antique and more on the following substrates: Steel, Stainless Steel, Brass, Zinc Die Castings, Bronze, Copper and Aluminum.

Plating capacity:

12 – Plating lines (7-Hoist lines, 3-Return type lines & 2-Manual lines)

Coating capacity:

2 – Powder coating lines (1-overhead conveyor coating line & 1-chain on edge)
2 – Liquid coating lines (1-chain on edge & 1-manual system)

PVD – We offer Physical Vapor Deposition services through a strategic alliance with a nearby supplier.

Polishing capacity:

15 – Automatic Polishing stations & over 100 manual polishing stations

Depending on our client’s requirements, we offer an array of services that range from Sourcing for Castings, Stampings, Machining and Forgings. We also offer Manufacturing, Assembly, Packaging and Distribution. Therefore we can become the one-stop-shop for our clients by offering Turnkey Services to supply a complete product assuming responsibility for the sourcing, manufacturing, finishing, quality control, assembly, packaging and distribution for the products.

Finishing operations: Provided through a state of the art manufacturing facility that is over 250,000 ft2 with 600+ employees, and is located in Tijuana, Baja California Mexico, near the US/Mexico border.

Main Industries Served: Door Hardware Industry: IPS has served leaders in this industry for many years. We are very familiar with the requirements needed for this industry. We are able to reach the highest levels of quality and satisfy our clients by adhering to the strict requirements set by the following industry regulators: ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) setting worldwide standards, BHMA (Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association) regulating commercial builders and manufacturers and ANSI (American National Standards Institute) developing the norms and guidelines required by all leading and reputable hardware manufacturers as well meeting the needs of our OEM clients. AUTOMOTIVE: IPS team offers chrome plating that meets or exceeds Aftermarket and/or OEM specifications. High and medium volume production is available in our automated and manual plating lines, applying the highest quality systems. You can be assured that our plating passes the most stringent automotive requirements, for example our triple Nickel process for improved corrosion protection in the Salt Spray or CASS testing criteria when required. GAMING: IPS team is proud to be a supplier for leading OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in the gaming industry. We are able to do this by offering high volume, high quality production using a wide array of processing (manual and automatic) including a sophisticated robotic system to assure efficiency and quality on the substrates we work. Assembly is offered as part of more integrated services package. PVD services are also available through a strategic alliance with a local supplier and provide finishes that include gold, nickel, and black. Substrate finishes that we provide include high polish, satin, grain, scotch-brite and blast.
