     Before the internet, newspapers ran syndicated columns on etiquette, advice to the lovelorn, and household tips like the well known "Hints from Heloise" column.

     A question one day way back when was 'I spilled red wine on my blouse', and the answer began: 'If you can catch it before it dries ...'

     The stain surely wasn't still wet when the answer appeared in the newspaper months later ... the answer was obviously meant for the current readers  🙂
