"CASS Test"

The ASTM B368 CASS test (copper accelerated acetic acid salt spray) is an accelerated corrosion test which is significantly more aggressive than standard salt spray tests, thus offering the benefit of faster results.

The CASS test is also believed to be more representative of the corrosion challenges that automobiles face than the standard salt spray test.
