Ted is a BSME, PE RET, and for 15 years he served as a plating & anodizing equipment Design Engineer for H-VW-M / M&T Chemicals, a Project Engineer on metal finishing wastewater treatment systems for Lancy Laboratories, and Chief Engineer of the equipment division of Harshaw Chemical Co. (now Atotech).

Upon founding his own firm, Finishing Technology, he completed countless consulting assignments on a wide range of metal finishing issues, and designed & installed a hundred plating, anodizing & finishing lines and wastewater treatment systems -- everything from floor to roof.

Ted has testified in many law cases, served as an arbitrator, and written several textbook chapters and countless technical articles . At the dawn of the Internet he founded Finishing.com, the world's first & most popular metal finishing website.
