Ted Mooney's CV/Resumé

Ted offers decades of broad knowledge of metal finishing and its related engineering.

Ted is a B.S.M.E. & P. E. RET. He served as a plating equipment Design Engineer for H-VW-M / M&T Chemicals, a Project Engineer on metal finishing wastewater treatment systems for Lancy Laboratories, and Chief Engineer of the equipment division of Harshaw Chemical Co. (now Atotech).

Upon founding his own firm, Finishing Technology, he completed consulting assignments on a wide range of metal finishing issues, and designed & installed dozens of plating, anodizing & finishing lines and wastewater treatment systems from floor to roof.

Ted has testified in law cases, served as an arbitrator, and written countless technical articles plus textbook chapters. At the dawn of the Internet he founded Finishing.com, the world's first & most popular metal finishing website.

Along with his daily work of researching & publicly answering finishing questions on finishing.com, he offers personal help with finishing issues & engineering issues related to our industry. Although the chaos of air travel & shop visits no longer appeal, when telecommuting isn't sufficient Ted drives for face-to-face meetings .
