Scale up parameters for acid copper plating

2001

Hi.

I would like to get some information about scale up parameters. I'm planning to build an experimental acid copper plating tank which would represent my process tank with the following size: 2 meter long, 0.6 meter wide and 0.9 meter deep. The tank is air agitated.

Best regards,

Hi, Benny. If the phrase "Hull Cell" isn't familiar to you then you might read up on that subject. A Hull Cell is a carefully engineered miniature plating tank of a handy size, usually 267 ml. Hull cell tanks also come in a number of optional configurations, such as a "Hanging Hull Cell" and a "Jiggle Cell" to take such things as agitation into effect. Good luck.
