Scale up parameters for acid copper plating

2001

Hi.

I would like to get some information about scale up parameters. I'm planning to build an experimental acid copper plating tank which would represent my process tank with the following size: 2 meter long, 0.6 meter wide and 0.9 meter deep. The tank is air agitated.

Best regards,

Hi, Benny. If the phrase "Hull Cell" ⇦ huh? isn't familiar to you then you might read up on that subject. A Hull Cell is a carefully engineered miniature plating tank of a handy size, usually 267 ml. Hull cell tanks also come in a number of optional configurations, such as a "Hanging Hull Cell" and a "Jiggle Cell" to take such things as agitation into effect. Good luck.
