Coating a copper cooktop hood
I have fabricated a copper hood to use over a cooktop. What can I use to coat the surface to prevent tarnishing?

Hi, Roger. You can use a
brass lacquer [on
eBay or
Amazon]
or a one-component clearcoat. The brass lacquer can be easily removed with
lacquer thinner [on
eBay or
Amazon] periodically and restored.
