-----Coating a copper cooktop hood
I have fabricated a copper hood to use over a cooktop. What can I use to coat the surface to prevent tarnishing?

Hi, Roger. You can use a brass lacquer ⇦ on eBay or Amazon [affil link] or a one-component clearcoat. The brass lacquer can be easily removed with lacquer thinner ⇦ on eBay or Amazon [affil link] Flammable! periodically and restored.
